An anonymous employee feedback tool built for trust.
Collect anonymous employee feedback. Reporting thresholds protect small groups. The Leadership Brief summarizes eligible feedback without identifying employees.
Clear safeguards before results appear.
People need to know what their employer can and cannot review. StaffHero applies reporting thresholds and keeps employee identity out of manager-facing survey outputs.
Identity stays out of manager views
The response is associated with an employee on the server, but manager-facing survey outputs do not include employee identity.
No IP or fingerprint fields on responses
The survey response record does not have fields for IP addresses or browser fingerprints.
Scores have a hard floor
Quantitative reporting has a configurable threshold with a hard floor of five responses.
Comments use a separate threshold
The open-text threshold defaults to seven, cannot be lower than the score threshold, and can be higher for sensitive segments.
Ask. Listen. Act.
Ask
A StaffHero pulse combines a StaffHero Score question (based on eNPS®) with topic questions. Optional comment fields let people add context.
Listen
Managers see grouped scores and eligible comments only after the relevant reporting threshold is met. Employee identity stays out of manager-facing outputs.
Act
For eligible rounds, the Leadership Brief highlights response patterns and possible next actions.
Anonymous employee feedback template
Use this six-question structure as a starting point for a short anonymous feedback form. Give the first question a 0 to 10 scale. Leave the rest open so people can explain what is happening in their own words.
- How likely are you to recommend this company as a place to work?
- What helps you do your best work here?
- What gets in the way of doing good work?
- Where do you need more clarity from your manager or the company?
- What should we keep doing?
- What is one change that would improve your work experience?
Sample employee announcement
We are sending a short pulse to understand what is helping and what needs attention. Anonymous to your employer. Managers see grouped scores and eligible comments only after the relevant reporting threshold is met. Please avoid naming yourself or a coworker in a written comment.

- Possible next actions from an eligible Leadership Brief
This view is hidden until enough people respond to keep individual answers private.

| Scores and trends | Grouped scores and trends appear after the configured threshold is met. | Quantitative reporting has a hard floor of five. |
| Team and segment views | Eligible group results appear when the relevant threshold is met. | Sensitive segments can require a higher threshold. |
| Written comments | Eligible anonymous comments appear after the open-text threshold is met. | Open text has a separate threshold with a default of seven and cannot be set below the quantitative threshold. |
