One question reveals
more than forty.
Employee Net Promoter Score is the most widely trusted measure of how your team really feels — distilled into a single, comparable number. Here's how it works, and how StaffHero uses it.
"How likely is it that you would recommend us as a place to work?"
Everyone lands in one of three camps
Your champions. Engaged, loyal, and actively recommending you as a place to work.
Content but not committed. Satisfied enough to stay — and easy to lose to a better offer.
Disengaged or frustrated. A flight and morale risk — and the signal you most need to hear early.
The math is refreshingly
simple.
Take the percentage of Advocates, subtract the percentage of Critics. Neutrals don't count toward either side. The result is a single number from −100 to +100 that you can track month over month and compare across teams.
Anything above 0 means more advocates than critics. Above +30 is strong; above +50 is outstanding for a growing company.
Simple to answer.
Hard to game.
People actually finish it
A 40-question annual survey gets skimmed or skipped. One honest question plus a few rotating topics gets completed — every month, by most of your team.
It's a behavior, not a mood
"Would you recommend us?" forces a real judgment about loyalty and advocacy — far more honest than "rate your satisfaction 1–5."
It's comparable everywhere
Because it's a standardized method, your score means something — over time, across teams, and against benchmarks.
An official, licensed approach
StaffHero is a licensed NPS® vendor, approved by Bain & Company and listed on their official vendor directory. That means the methodology behind your StaffHero Score is the real, standardized eNPS — not a homemade lookalike. It's a credibility your team and your board can both trust.
